HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS FAILURE AND TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS

What are hydraulic systems?
Hydraulic systems are systems that uses the hydraulic pump, hydraulic oil, and hydraulic actuators for lifting operations. Examples are lifts, forklifts. However, hydraulic failure do occur during operations. So, from experience it is adviceable not to stay under hydraulic system during operation. Hydraulic failures occur due to the following:
-Poor maintenance strategies
-Aging of the equipment
For any hydraulic failure encountered, Here are troubleshooting Skills to carry out:
-Check for hydraulic leakages
-Check if hydraulic pump is in good working condition
if leakages is suspected, tighting the pipe connections with a thread tape
-Air bleed the system
I hope this helps.....
